There is not much else in aviation history more Iconic than Concorde. Concorde could travel at over twice the speed of sound and could make transatlantic flights twice as fast as traditional passenger aircraft. A true marvel of human engineering, and an iconic part of aviation history. It is fitting for the Latest LEGO icons set to be released, to be the New LEGO Concorde set. One that will surely have many nostalgic thoughts and be a huge collectable LEGO set.
Our second foray into exploring new LEGO sets after the new Star Wars mech sets, time to explore the commercial aircraft that changed the world.
The New Lego Concorde set: What do we know?
This is a new set that could go quite quickly, I see this being very well sought after so it may be that it will be snapped up very quickly leaving there to be big waitlists.
Part of the Lego icon theme
So the new Lego Concorde will be part of the LEGO icon theme, no surprise really and a perfect fit for this theme, that within the last year has brought similar iconic sets such as Rivendell from Lord of the Rings and the Land Rover classic defender.
How much is the new LEGO Concorde?
You will be able to pick up this LEGO set for the price of £169.99, a decent price for the size set you get, it is very comparable to similar sets.
I wouldn’t expect to get any big discounts on this set any time soon, nor at all. As is often the case for ICONS discounts are rare and certainly will be in the short term, when it is discounted will be sure to ping it up on the LEGO deals page.
How many pieces
You will have 2083 LEGO pieces to put together to build this iconic set.

As expected this is a hugely detailed set with over 2000 pieces.
A Plaque for the base of the Concorde stands highlighting its unique facts.
A detailed depiction of the Concorde seating area in one section where the fuselage can be lifted to see inside the plane.
Other aspects of the complex build will be tucked away but will be no less relevant.
With the tiltable droop nose and Visor
This set will make a beautiful addition to any shelf, highlighting some fantastic British history in a spectacular way. As often is the case for ICONS and LEGO, a beautiful marriage has been made between history and tiny bricks.
