There are two new Lego gifts with purchase to claim from 23rd October, Steamboat Willie Lego 40659, and the final Houses of the world number 4 Lego 40599.
You can claim them both as a Lego insider. The threshold is different for both sets. But if making some bigger purchases this is well worth a look. As great gifts to add to your collection or to offset. You can sell these sets for a good amount of money or hold them as an investment, which will give you a good discount on your purchases.
Lego 40659 Steamboat Willie
To claim this set you will need to spend £95 on Lego Disney products, the good thing is this worked with Star Wars and Marvel sets as well, so there are plenty of sets to choose from in pursuit of this iconic gift with purchase.
At 424 pieces, with moving steam pipes this is a fantastic gift with purchase. A great way to celebrate disneys 100th anniversary
Steamboat Willie is currently going for £30+ on eBay, and am expecting this to go up and up, once it is not available. Very collectable Disney set. That is worth keeping on to if you don’t want to build it yourself.
A similar set was done a few years ago, this has been selling north of £100 for quite some time. I see no reason why this set will not do the same.
Lego 40599 Houses of the World 4
The second gift with purchase available this week is the Houses of the World 4. The fourth and final one, this one based on Chinese architecture.
Unfortunately, this one has a much higher threshold. You need to spend over £220 to claim this free addition to your basket.
You will also need to be signed into the Lego Insider program to claim. This is one of a collection of various houses over the year completing the package.
The other 3 are selling for around £35 – 45. This will be expected to be the same. As time goes on and the desire to complete the collection grows, we will likely see these prices rise higher still. We have had a bigger look at the collection earlier of all the other Houses of the World sets.
Either way a great set to add to a Lego Christmas order. If you are spending that much. This will stack with Steamboat Willie.
