Often i will go for the mid range lego sets as better investments, as they are easier to hit the 100% returns targets, sets between £30-60 are often quite good.
But as we have seen with battle packs and mechs, small Lego sets can also be worthwhile investments.
One reason why they are not always as easy to get to 100% is the fees on Amazon, can make cheaper sets harder to get the same return even though the sale price is triple the buy price.
However if bought at the right discount and is popular and sought after 100% returns can be achieved.
We didn’t quite make 100% return on this one, but certainly 83% ROI after all fees is not to be sniffed at.
Lego 71761 bought for £6 sold for £17.99
This set we bought for £6 in October 2023 (some earlier) but this shows how quick a turn around we achieved.
Bought for £6 we sold for just under £18 to in March 2024.
As more sellers have popped on the market price has dipped a little below £17 – but expect it to go back and perhaps even to £20+ if hold for longer.

Why this was a good investment?
When on the market, the set never really dipped much below in price, and although perhaps in retail clearances, £6 was the best price available on this set that i recall.
Always a popular seller with good sales numbers. The popularity of this set was never in doubt.
Lego Ninjago has a theme is another that although often ignored has proven itself time and time again for investment.
