Lego Mario has been around for a couple of years and as well as the playable Mario Lego – we also have these fantastic sets aimed at adults. Some elements of those playable Mario sets were quite frustrating, they were constantly breaking for me. But the kids had good fun building and playing, but they have now been packed up and put into boxes.
However, there is another new Mario set, built to show off another iconic and frustrating member of the Nintendo gaming series. We have already seen the Mighty Bowser. The price of £229.99 may be a bit steep for any, but it will surely be a Lego goal for big fans of the franchise.
On the 6th November, another new set will be released in the form of this very cool-looking piranha plant.
Priced at £57.99 it is a much more reasonable buy, than Bowser, or will sit very nicely next to Bowser.
The green pipe that we are used to the plants popping out of looks really well done very slick and smooth. With the piranha plant has a very posable and moveable head to strike the right pose.
The detail in this set looks really cool and the green pipe is done very well to give a very sleek look, combining this with current and past Lego Mario sets will make for one awesome collection, for any Mario super fans
It also comes with 2 coins – that you can hide in the pipe.
I can see this collection growing over time, there is a lot of potential in the Lego Mario sphere and I am more than ready for that.
