LEGO 10280 Flower Bouquet Investment Watchlist

LEGO 10280 Flower Bouquet Investment Watchlist

Set Overview

The LEGO Flower Bouquet (10280) is part of the LEGO Icons Botanical Collection and was originally released in January 2021 with an RRP of £54.99. Despite being on shelves for several years, the set continues to maintain extremely strong demand, currently sitting among the highest-selling LEGO sets based on sales rank data.

With retirement expected in July 2026, the Flower Bouquet remains one of the most recognisable adult-focused LEGO sets and continues to appeal well beyond traditional LEGO collectors.

Historic Price Behaviour

Since launch, the Flower Bouquet has regularly appeared in promotional sales, often dropping into the £35–£45 range during major retail events.

The set’s long shelf life has also allowed it to build strong brand recognition, particularly as part of the wider Botanical Collection range.

It is quite often sat at £40 and has been for a considerable time, so I would like to see a chunky discount before its retirement, we may or may not get this.

Investment Thoughts

  • Extremely broad audience appeal, including non-LEGO buyers
  • Popular as a gift item all year-round
  • Display-focused set with strong home décor appeal
  • Compact box size compared to many sets at similar price points

There is some caution to be had with these sets; however, I feel these sets will be replaced by quite similar Lego sets as well, so although they will still be popular and likely increase in value, my reservation would be that they won’t have the same unique factor that other sets from different themes may have.

It has also been on the market for quite some time.
But as more adults start collecting other botanical sets, there could be some appeal in having older sets that are no longer available.

Comparable Retired Sets

  • 10314 Dried Flower centre pieces continued popularity among adult builders and collectors.

There aren’t many comparable sets, as this theme only really started in 2021, and most have had long shelf lives. One example is Lego 10314 Dried Flower Centrepiece. This set retailed at £45 – regularly available at £30.

Retiring in 2024, it is currently sitting nicely between £55 and £ 60. A solid return. But perhaps a sign that this one is not going to double your money

BrickAnalyst Verdict

Buy under: £30
Hold period: 1-2 years post retirement
⚠️ Risk level: Medium (high supply but strong demand). Wouldn’t necessarily be expecting mega returns.
